I use a holistic approach to assist in finding the balance between the mind, body and spirit. With a focus on a Cognitive Behavioral Approach, I emphasize the importance of understanding how behavioral outcomes in life have a strong connection to the ongoing thoughts and perceptions that an individual has. I assist with introspection in order to allow individuals to obtain desired changes in their outer world.

I work with children/adolescents in areas of trauma, teenage pregnancy, low self-esteem, anxiety, anger issues, depression, learning disabilities, LGBT issues, addictions, grief/bereavement, and abuse. Many times, children/adolescents feel ashamed to discuss difficulties they are having with caregivers because of fear of judgment. I work with families to remove any ongoing barriers and assist with fostering ongoing healthy communication with all members of family. I use art therapy and play therapy with children during individual sessions to assist with their treatment goals.

I work with adults on parenting issues, domestic violence, past trauma, addictions, social anxiety, post-traumatic stress and depression. I use Empty Chair technique, journaling, positive visualization, mindfulness and other approaches to assist in overcoming any blocks to their personal growth. I emphasize the individual’s strengths in order to assist him/her in the areas that he/she wants to improve. I also assist clients in understanding that any difficulties experienced in life will ultimately promote and foster growth in that individual. I invite you to courageously answer the call to make incredible transformations in your life and in the lives of your loved ones!
